With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Katina Pateras (Toronto, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Vasilios; her daughters, Freda Milhail (late Elias), Tina Spiro (late Theodore) and Mabel Toulis (late Stephen); and her sister Anna Marinis (late Athanasios).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, George (Sophie), Jimmy (Cathy), Mary (Angelo), Nicholas (Sandy), Kathy (Danny), Michael (Helen), Bill (Marla), Zoi and James Maligeorgos; her great grandchildren, Amanda (Elias), Megan (Grant), Taylor (Scott), Alyssa (Sal), Christopher, Nicholas, Theo, Anna-Katherine, Thomas, Anthony, Emily, Samantha, Stephanie, Adam, Michael and Alessandro; her great great grandchild Lena; her sister Tina Servinis (late Thomas); and also Fanny Maligeorgos (late Paul). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Highland Funeral Home - Scarborough (3280 Sheppard Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1T3K3). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church (3840 Finch Ave E, Toronto, ON M1T3T4). A burial will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at the Pine Hills Cemetery (625 Birchmount Rd, Scarborough, ON M1K5E4).
