It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katheryn Leigh Sonnenberg of Toronto, Ontario, born in Kitchener, Ontario, who passed away on October 16, 2024, at the age of 36, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Katheryn may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her sister Carly Gingerich; and her friend Sarah Martz. She is survived by: her husband Tyler Sonnenberg; her parents, Karen Edmonds and Larry Gingerich; her mother-in-law Barb; and her sister Allie Gingerich. She is also survived by her loving parents and siblings-in-law, her extended family, friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hacienda (1254 Union St, Kitchener, ON N2H).
