Karmen Flajs Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karmen Flajs (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on February 17, 2025 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Karmen leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ljubica Drpa and Zvonko Flajs; and her sibling Ksenija.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Turner & Porter - Yorke Chapel (2357 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M6S1P4). A reception will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Drake Hotel (1150 Queen St W, Toronto, ON M6J1J3). Even late in life, Karmen decided to take on new hobbies and learned to drum during the pandemic.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes a donation to one of the causes below which Karmen passionately and generously supported.
