He was predeceased by: his mother Josefa Sala; his sister Josie; and his brother-in-law Ramon Abelenda Jose. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Douglas Jaramillo (Kimberly) and Veronica Sala-Baez (Diego); his grandchildren, Izabella, Sofia, Penelope and Diego; his niece Stella Abelenda; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Eddie and Daniel. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals (3377 US-9, Old Bridge, NJ 08857).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Heart Association in Jose's name.
