He is survived by: his wife Maria; his son Jorge (Dayana); his grandchild Matias Alejandro; and his siblings, Eduardo, Enrique, Rodrigo, Oswaldo, Miguel, Patricio and Jacquline.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions set in place, the family has made the difficult decision to make the visitation and funeral services private.
