He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Helen; his children, Paul Sapounzi (Lilia) and Sofia Chamberlain (Hugh); and his grandchildren, Neve, Julian, Roman and Adrian.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Centre (50 Overlea Blvd, Toronto, ON M4H 1B6). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church (30 Thorncliffe Park Dr., Toronto, ON M4H1H8).
