Joan (Bruce) A. Mayers Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2024, Joan (Bruce) A. Mayers (Toronto, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Joan shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joan farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her husband Reverend Hector F. Mayers. She is survived by: her children, Hector Mayers II (Lana), Hermon (Martina), Michael (Audrey) and Michelle; and her siblings, Maude, Hazel, Compton and Frank. She is also survived by Her 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Morley Bedford Funeral Home (159 Eglinton Ave W, Toronto, ON M4R1A8). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the People's Church (374 Sheppard Ave E, Toronto, ON M2N3B6).
