She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Raymond Mitchell; her daughter Judi; and her son-in-law Henry. She is survived by: her children, Joy Bookholt (Bruce) and Don Mitchell (Lori); her daughter-in-law Debbie Mitchell; and her grandchildren, Donnie, Raymond, Kelli, Jill, Jana, Chris, Tim, Geoff, Melissa, Andrew and Ryan. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made in her memory to the youth music programs at either The Salvation Army Halifax West Corps (Halifax West) or The Salvation Army Etobicoke Temple Corps. (Etobicoke Temple).
