She was predeceased by: her parents, Mervyn Young and Ruth Young; and her brother Rocklyn Young. She is survived by: her siblings, Brenda Castle-Young and Hilary Young; her sister-in-law Deborah Young; her nephews, Stephen, Gregory, Thomas Castagnola (Sherry Young), Sean Young (Erin Tomlinson), Andrew Young and Rizz Young; and her close friend George Lee. She is also survived by 2 great nephews and one great niece.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to Waterford and District Foodbank.
