She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Housson Sears and Anne Marcus Sears; her siblings, Mary Anne Thomas and William Housson Sears; and her pet Max.

She is survived by: her daughters, Robyn Jane Cakebread (Edward Kraus) and Caroline Marcus Cakebread (James Mitchell); and her grandchildren, Miles, Isabelle, Henry and Juliet.
