He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Baker and Teresa Baker; and his siblings, Joseph Baker, William Baker and Sherry Miller.

He is survived by: his wife Hilda (Scott); his siblings, Carol Underwood, Daniel Baker, John Baker and Darlene Baker; and his children, Cindy Austin (Daryl) of Flinton, Sharon Baker of Roslin, Greg Baker (Nicki) of Newcastle, Karen Baker of Oshawa and Michael Baker (Vicki) of Harlowe. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Milestone Funeral Center (11928 Hwy 41, Northbrook, ON K0H2G0). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
