He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Hilda; his children, Bernie (Melissa) and Opi; his grandson Jack; his sister Helen Schmidt; his niece Monika; his nephew Richard Schmidt; and his mother Magdalena.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mimico Chapel (63 Mimico Ave, Etobicoke, ON M8V1R2). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Mimico Chapel Lounge (63 Mimico Ave, Etobicoke, ON M8V1R2).
