He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Simic and Marija Simic. He is survived by: his spouse Mara Simic (Rasic); his sister Marija Kolacevic of Hamilton; and his cousins, Josip Simic of Toronto and Croatia. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews.
