He is survived by: his close friend Joanna Kim; his children, Jeffery, Melanie, Joel, Lyn, Gail and Bernard; his grandchildren, Marc, Melanie, Leah, James, Emma, Ryan, Simon, Samantha, Michael, Max and Molly; and his great grandchildren, Gretchen, Louisa, Cohen and Ada.
