Ida Sturino Obituary
We bid farewell to Ida Sturino (Toronto, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 5, 2025 at the age of 99. Ida touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ernesto; and her siblings, Luigi, Iolanda, Giovanni, Emilia, Trentina, Francesco, Gaspare and Carmela.
She is survived by: her children, Anna Maria (Giuseppe Perricone) and Frank (Monica Stellin); and her grandchildren, Idella (Kevin Siu), Leonora (Antonio Gigliotti), Deanna (Roberto De Rose), Francesco, Leroy, Rosario, Augustus, Lorenzo, Fiorella, Ilaria, Vincenzo and Giuseppe. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Bernardo Funeral Homes (2960 Dufferin St, North York, ON M6B3S9). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Church (811 Lawrence Ave W, North York, ON M6A1C3). A burial was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at the Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst St, North York, ON M2R1Y6).
