She was predeceased by: her parents, Leone Anania and Rosina Anania; her husband Pietro Bruno Posca; and her siblings, Bruno, Maria, Caterina and Domenico.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa (Giovanni), Rosetta and Rosario (Anna); her grandchildren, Sara (Roberto), Francesco (Federica), Gabrielle, Natalie (Jan), Michael, Alyssa and Bruno; her great grandchildren, Alessandro, Ginevra, Dalila, Giovanni and Allegra; her brother Antonio (Concetta); and her sister-in-law Maria. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home (211 Langstaff Rd E, Thornhill, ON L3T3Z6). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or the Canadian Diabetic Association in Giuseppa's memory.
