George Ragavas Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Ragavas (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on December 16, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, George shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid George farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonios Ragavas and Antonia Ragavas. He is survived by: his wife Christina; his children, Antonia (Antonios) and Nektarios (Christine); and his grandchildren, Demetrios, Maria, Christina, George and Christian.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church (1385 Warden Ave., Scarborough, ON M1R2S3). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 1:45 PM to 2:15 PM at the Pine Hills Cemetery (625 Birchmount Rd, Scarborough, ON M1K1R1).
