He was predeceased by: his parents, Dimitrios Jimas and Vaitsa Jimas. He is survived by: his wife Afroditi (Joannou); his daughter Violet; his grandchildren, Mary (Chris), Gina (Rob), George (Laura), John and Alexander; and his great grandchildren, Samantha, Ava, Ben and Rachel.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Centre (50 Overlea Blvd, Toronto, ON M4H 1B6). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Demetrios Orthodox Church (30 Thorncliffe Park Dr., Toronto, ON M4H1H8). A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pine Hills Cemetery (625 Birchmount Rd, Scarborough, ON M1K1R1).
