George Contaxis Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to George Contaxis (Toronto, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. George left this world on April 21, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Letta; his children, Tom (Vivy), Stavroula (Chris), Niki (Peter) and Greg; his grandchildren, Anna, Demetri, Sophia (Panayioti), Nikoletta and Anastasia (George); and his great grandchildren, Andoni and Stavroula.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ralph Day Chapel (50 Overlea Blvd, Toronto, ON M4H1B6). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church (30 Thorncliffe Park Dr., Toronto, ON M4H1H8). A burial will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Pine Hills Cemetery (625 Birchmount Rd, Scarborough, ON M1K1R1).
