We are sad to announce that on November 14, 2024, at the age of 86, Fani Papaeliou (Toronto, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Fani find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She is survived by: her children, Helen (Gianni), Paul (Olga) and Mary (John); her grandchildren, Jonathan, Elaina, George, James and Paul; her sister Lika; and her significant other Dimitrios. She is also survived by her many friends, neighbors.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Centre (50 Overlea Blvd, Toronto, ON M4H 1B6). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church (30 Thorncliffe Park Dr., Toronto, ON M4H1H8). A burial was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Pine Hills Cemetery (625 Birchmount Rd, Scarborough, ON M1K1R1).
