The memory of Evgenia Konidis (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on February 26, 2025 at the age of 100, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the sacred silence of farewell, Evgenia is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Evgenia's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband Pantelis; her son Paul (Tina); and her granddaughter Jane. She is survived by: her children, Peter (Victoria), Voula Krigas (Chris), Jim (Joanne), John (Cathy) and Mario (Christine).
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ralph Day Chapel (50 Overlea Blvd, Toronto, ON M4H1B6). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church (30 Thorncliffe Park Dr., Toronto, ON M4H1H8). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM at the Pine Hills Cemetery (625 Birchmount Rd, Scarborough, ON M1K1R1).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Irene Greek Orthodox Church or Patro Kosma Monastery in Bolton, ON. (Please contact them directly for donations).
