Eugenija Furda Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 30, 2025, at the age of 96, Eugenija Furda (Toronto, Ontario) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eugenija Furda to pay them a last tribute.

Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Eugenija leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She is survived by: her husband Jaroslav Furda (Jerry); her children, Ola Furda and Mary Sinkarcuk (Joe); and her grandson Steven. She is also survived by many nieces and a nephew.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre (60 Richview Rd, Toronto, ON M9A5E4). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St Volodymyr Ukrainian Cemetery.
