Eugenia Sowska Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eugenia Sowska (Toronto, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 2, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Eugenia departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Eugenia may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Eugenia leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sibling Jósef; her husband Henryk Sorski; her daughter Teresa Maria; her son-in-law Jacek; and her grandson Filip.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mimico Chapel (63 Mimico Ave, Etobicoke, ON M8V1R2). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Teresa's Catholic Church (100 Tenth St, Etobicoke, ON M8V3G1).
Together with members of Women's Club she organized various charity events, receiving recognizable awards.
