Ernestine Wong Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2025, at the age of 88, Ernestine Wong of Toronto, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Florence Mae Ford-White; her husband Earle Wilson Wong; her children, Charmaine and Vulte (Manfred J.); her stepson Trevor Wong (Pam Wong); her grandchildren, Robert John Earle and Vulte; her nieces and nephews, Kamika Dixon and Renee Wong-Crawford (Lyle Crawford); and her brother Allan.

She is survived by: her stepfathers, Lawrence M. D. White and Ernest Kelsey; and her siblings, Louis (Connie), Eunice, Robert, Terry (Raymond), Virginia (Leonard) and Allen.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Highland Funeral Home - Scarborough (3280 Sheppard Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1T3K3). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Immanuel Baptist Church (1100 Finch Ave E, North York, ON M2J2X4). A burial will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Highland Memory Gardens (33 Memory Gardens Ln, North York, ON M2H3K4).

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
