She was predeceased by: her husband Aquilino Torcato; her sisters, Maria Simoes (Manuel), Elisa (Joao), Santos and Francelina Furtado (Francisco); and her sister-in-law Nelia Santos (Manuel).
She is survived by: her brother Jose Alexandre (Helena); her children, Anna Botelho (John) and Jose Torcato (Fatima); and her grandchildren, Melissa Botelho, Christopher Botelho (Sara), Michael Botelho and Jeffrey Torcato. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, brother, nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cardinal Funeral Home-Bathurst Chapel. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Bosco Church (402 Westmount Ave, Toronto, ON M6E3N5). A burial was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Prospect Cemetery (1450 St Clair Ave W, Toronto, ON M6E1C6).
