It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth McKellar Spence Murray (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on April 13, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Peter McKellar Spence and Isobel Spence; and her nephew Daniel Wright. She is survived by: her husband Ross Murray; her brother Charles Spence (Delene); her sister-in-law Ann Murray; her children, Jill Murray (Dennis), Andrea Rae (Shawn) and Peter Murray (Lisa); her nieces and nephews, Alex Wright (Jenny), Abby and George; and her grandchildren, Isobel, Isaac, Lucas, Grace and Charlotte.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Humphrey Funeral Home A. W. Miles-Newbigging Chapel (1403 Bayview Ave, Toronto, ON M4S2N4). During COVID, Liz and Ross moved to Toronto to be closer to Andrea and Peter and their families.
