The passing of Despina Nicolaou (Toronto, Ontario) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 11, 2024 at the age of 87. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though Despina may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Despina touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her husband Chris. She is survived by: her children, Alice (Ken), George (Lisa), Frances (John) and Evelyn (Greg); and her great grandchild Layla.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church (30 Thorncliffe Park Dr., Toronto, ON M4H1H8). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pine Hills Cemetery (625 Birchmount Rd, Scarborough, ON M1K1R1).
