With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Demetre Papadimitriou (Toronto, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Demetre left this world on January 25, 2025 at the age of 61, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Demetre shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Demetre farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lyudmila; his children, Kalli, Stefano and Lidia; his parents, Stefano (Kalliope) and Kalliope; his siblings, Mary and Dino; and his friend Baba.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church (1223 Dovercourt Rd, Toronto, ON M6H2Y1). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:15 PM at the Pine Hills Cemetery (625 Birchmount Rd, Scarborough, ON M1K1R1).
