David Robert Corbett Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Robert Corbett (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on February 22, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Georgina Corbett. He is survived by: his father Albert Corbett; his husband Brian Birkby; his siblings, Ray (Rachel) and Janice (Chris Palmaro); his brother-in-law Kris Birkby (Heather Chadwick); his nieces and nephews, Renee (Travis Floyd), Steven (Melissa Bikowski), Scott, Casey Palmaro, Justin Birkby (Ashley) and Katherine Birkby (Anna); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ashton, Isla Floyd, Lucy and James Corbett; and also Lynn Marie Birkby. He is also survived by cousins and many friends that were a part of our extended family.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home and Chapel (467 Sherbourne St, Toronto, ON M4X1K5).

Memorial donations in David's memory can be made to the Allan Gardens Food bank or Brain Cancer Canada.
