He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carr and Margaret Carr. He is survived by: his siblings, Iain Carr (Isabelle) and Michele Gavin (Tom). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews, and two godchildren, as well as many wonderful friends.

In his honour, the family welcomes donations to the Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
