David Ennis Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 8, 2019 we had to say goodbye to David J. Ennis born March 20th, 1953 to Charles J. Ennis and Marion P. Ennis (McLaughlin).

Dave grew up in Bishop’s Falls, Newfoundland. Where he was active in numerous activities and sports. According to our dad, Dave could be found more often than not on the ball field.

After graduating from St. Michaels high school Dave moved to Toronto. After a short time there, Dave returned to Newfoundland to attend Memorial University. After his time at MUN, Dave accepted a teaching job in Conche, Newfoundland which he enjoyed tremendously. Dave always reflected on his time in Conche fondly and with a smile.

After completing his year in Conche Dave returned to Toronto where he would live out the rest of his life. Dave enjoyed several careers during his life and as long as his health allowed he enjoyed playing hockey.

Dave always enjoyed his return trips to Newfoundland and will be missed by all those who love him.
