She was predeceased by: her child Denis Martel; and her parents, Juliette Verreault and Anselme Verreault. She is survived by: her spouse Gérard Martel of Sudbury; her child Jean-François Martel of Sudbury; her grandchild Joshua; and her siblings, Gilles Verreault of Saguenay-Lac and Roger Verreault (Charlene Guérin) of Jonquière Québec.

Donations to the Alzheimer's Society (Sudbury-Manitoulin) or Muscular Dystrophy Canada would be greatly appreciated.
