He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Sr. Vance and Ella Vance; his brother John Vance; his parents-in-law, Lorne and Evelyn Sadlemyer; and his sister-in-law Cheryl Gallatin.
He is survived by: his wife Liane Sadlemyer; his children, Jonathon, Briane (Dylan) and Jessica (Justin Boyer); his pets, Leena, Bo and George; his siblings, Elizabeth McPherson (Dan) and James Vance (Mary); and also, Lorelei Camphaug (Ron), Marjorie Nagel (Lloyd), Bob Sadlemyer (Carol) and Pam Ham (Daryl). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
