Antonio Fernandes Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2025, at the age of 71, Antonio Fernandes (Toronto, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Antonio departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Antonio. Though Antonio may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joaquim Maria and Rosa Maria. He is survived by: his wife Maria Augusta; and his daughter Ana Maria.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Vescio Funeral Home "toronto Chapel" (2080 Dufferin St, York, ON M6E3R7). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Matthew's Roman Catholic Church (706 Old Weston Rd, Toronto, ON M6N3B8).
