She was predeceased by: her son Mitchell. She is survived by: her husband Jose; her siblings, Fatima (Filipe Fernandes), Graca (Manuel Pestana) and Fernando Jose (Nelia); and her nieces and nephews, Tony, Nidia, Nilka, Richard and Jennifer.

Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Vescio Funeral Home "toronto Chapel" (2080 Dufferin St, York, ON M6E3R7). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
