In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Abelardo leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Abelardo may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his wife Nieves; his children, Rachel (Blake) and John; his granddaughters, Stella and Lily; and his sister Sena. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Highland Funeral Home - Scarborough Chapel (3280 Sheppard Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1T3K3). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Precious Blood Parish (1737 Lawrence Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1R2X7). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the The-Pines Cemetery (4130 Lawrence Ave East, Scarborough).
