She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest Gerald Lawson (Joe); her siblings, Helen Blair (Jack), Muriel Wheatley (John), Irene MacMillan (Leonard), Marjorie Saunders (Reg), Miss Elizabeth Hamilton, Lorne (Marie), Charlie, Eric (Trudy), Gordon (Doris), Arnold (Margaret) and Kenneth Hamilton (Shirley); and her father Stewart Hamilton.

She is survived by: her children, Lyle Lawson (Cheryl), Dale Howard (Doug), Brian Lawson and Gail Henry (Jamie); her grandchildren, Jonathan Lawson (Julie), Jason Lawson, Christopher Lawson (Ashlea), Sarah Durant (Chris), Colin Howard, Dillon Henry and Houston Henry; her great grandchildren, Carolyn, Elizabeth Lawson, Lucy and Alice Durant; and her siblings, Edna Baker (Grant), Garnet Hamilton (Evelyn) and Wilbert Hamilton (Barbara). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
