Garnet Baker Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 26, 2020, Garnet Baker of Toledo, Ontario passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Garnet Baker to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Baker and Mary Elizabeth 'Bessie' Baker (Bellamy); his stepmother Wilma Baker; and his brother Arnold Baker. He is survived by: his wife Lorna Baker (Chant); his son Gregory Baker (Katrina Salvante) of Burnaby, BC.; his siblings, Ken Baker (Eileen), Beulah Bond (Mort) and Audrey Timlin (Wally); and his sisters-in-law, Kathy Lawson (Wayne), Barbara Finnson (Stanley), Linda Fleming (David) and Dianne Flood (Robert). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Due to the COVID restrictions, a small Graveside Service will take place at St. Andrews Cemetery, Toledo on Saturday September 5, 2020 at 11 a. m. Please call the Funeral Home at 613-342-2792 if you would like to attend Graveside Funeral Service as there is a limit to how many people can be in the Cemetery at a time.

In memory of Garnet, donations to Parkinson Research, the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation, St. Andrew's United Church or Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
