He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer McCourt and Margery McCourt; his siblings, Jim McCourt and Reta McCourt; and his in-laws, Bill and Betty Elliott.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie McCourt; his sister Marlene McCourt of Etobicoke; and his in-laws, Brian, Brenda Gartley of Harriston, Beverley Elliott, Chris Nowland of Vancouver, BC, Jim Elliott and Terina Wnuk of Port Elgin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
