It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Mildred Dent of Tiverton, Ontario, born in Sedalia, Alberta, who passed away on March 25, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Alan Dent; her parents, Hugh Smith and Millie Smith; and her siblings, John Smith, Eunice Farrell (Murray) and Christena Scott (Bob).
She is survived by: her children, Joan Dent, Bill Dent (Gwen), Janice Cockburn (Les) and Jim Dent (Kim); her grandchildren, Brad Dent (Katie), Jason Dent (Gillian), Jayne Cockburn, John Cockburn, Heather Dent (Tobias) and Anthony Dent; her great grandchildren, Harper, Holden, Annabelle, Christian, Rosalie, Felicity and Sterling; and her sister-in-law Alberta Smith. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations in Jean's memory to Canadian Food Grains Bank or the Kincardine Food Bank would be appreciated.
