He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfrid and Edith; and his siblings, Carman, Bobby Merritt (late Joan) and Rose-Marie Boudreau (late Camille).
He is survived by: his children, Catherine Merritt (Alison) and Jonathan Merritt (Gioela); his grandsons, Cooper and Clayton Merritt; and his family, William Merritt, Brenda Merritt, Diane Athanasiou, Debbie Larocque (Gerry), Wayne Boudreau (Natalie), Travis Merritt (Kaci), Simone McIntosh and Debbie Landry (Robert).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Maison Funéraire Lessard Funeral and Cremation Centre Inc. (21 Elm St S, Timmins, ON P4N1W4). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Maison Funéraire Lessard Funeral Chapel Address (21 Elm St S, Timmins, ON P4N1W4).
