He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Forsyth and Helen Forsyth-Dettoni (Danilo Senior). He is survived by: his children, Sean Forsyth, Shannon Noseworthy (Chuck), Scott Forsyth (Lori) and Kara Latimer; his grandchildren, Andrew, Nathan, Kaitlyn, Charlotte, Abigail and Maddison; his great grandchild Alice; his stepbrother Danilo Dettoni; his siblings-in-law, Warren, Helen Scott, Sandra Cornell (George) and Valerie Matte (late Don); and his close friend Timmins.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Timmins Food Bank or the Canadian Cancer Society.
