She was predeceased by: her spouse Kazimir Mihelcic; her parents, Stjepan Kanizaj and Barbara Kanizaj; her siblings, Berta Horvat (late Ivica) and Antika Raumberger (Jovanka); her aunt Marija Kanizaj (late Ivan); her parents-in-law, Juraj and Sofija Mihelcic; and her sister-in-law Nevenka Madzia (late John).
She is survived by: her children, Carmen Ferris (Kyle) of Timmins and Carolina Roy (Michael) of Timmins; her grandchildren, Ryan, Kendall Ferris and Emerson Roy; her cousins, Mirjana Rest and Zeljko Kanizaj of Croatia; her sister-in-law Mary Kratofil (late Vlado); her nieces and nephews, Debi Hudson (Allan), Arsen Kratofil (Angela), Joanne Lizotte (Richard) and James Madzia (Antonietta); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jason Chase (Lissa), Jessica Robitaille (Christopher), Nico, Dario Kratofil, Sofia, Marina and Neva Madzia; and also Devin Chase.
