He was predeceased by: his mother Norma Hogue; and his grandchild Baby Bryce. He is survived by: his daughter Crystal Ali; and his grandchildren, Bayonna, Jayden, Maseeka and Aisha. He is also survived by brothers and sisters in Timmins, thousands of friends.

“Tom had a good heart that many times he provided financial aid, to those in need. He wanted to share his love of food which inspired him to become a chef. His talents were shared with many of the friends at our home, in Timmins and at Georgetown Bethel. Many meals were shared after the cnventions, just to catch up. He was a great friend who loved fishing- he wanted to do more, but, his health prevented him from doing so. He will be sadly missed, by Robin and I , along with many others.”
