He was predeceased by: his parents, Yui Hing Eng and Ng C Eng; his mother-in-law Yu-Wong Sui Hong; his brothers-in-law, Otto Yu and Yeung Yue; and his daughter Baby Mabel.

He is survived by: his wife Kam Ying Eng (Mabel); his children, Garbel Laforest (Marcel) of Timmins, Toby Eng of Timmins, Jodee Eng of Ottawa and Patricia Eng (John) of Ottawa; his grandchildren, Courtney of Timmins, Logan Laforest of Timmins and Gon-Gon; his siblings, Chu Ip (late Joe) of Toronto and Harvey Eng (late Christine) of London; and his uncle Cam. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
