He is survived by: his wife Barb Birkett; his children, Carol Hearth (Leon), Rachel McDonald (Pete), Rhonda Birkett (Claude) and Ronnie Gauthier (Krista); his stepchildren, Paul Cimini (Jennifer) and Cheryl Cimini (Jeff); his grandchildren, Vaughn, Holly, Carly, Xavier, Matthew, Emily, Zackery, Andrea "Missy", Ava, Katrina, Dakotah and James; his siblings, Barbara Birkett, Rita Tourout and Harold Birkett; his brother-in-law Iain Hastie (Sharon); his mother-in-law Mary Hastie; his nieces and nephews, Jasen, Brooke, Katie, Adrianna Ouellet, Corey Chenier, Cesar, Marley and Joy Joy; and his pets, Tutsi, Smokey and Amber.
