He was predeceased by: his parents, Glorian-Francis Lacoursière and Cécile Lacoursière. He is survived by: his wife Pierrette; his daughters, Angèle Chartrand (Paul), Jo-Anne Fleury (Daniel), Estelle Demers (Randy) and Lise Lacoursière-Perreault (Marc); his grandchildren, Ashley Chartrand (Ben), Derek Fleury (Cynthia), Steve Fleury (Stéphanie), Robyn Bellemare (Terence), Brianna Marks (Ryan), Riley Demers (Martine Leblanc), Josée and Roch Lavoie; and his great grandchildren, Maple, Nova Chartrand, Tom Fleury and Baby Marks.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Timmins and District Hospital would be appreciated.
