He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Elizabeth; his parents, Joseph Hookimaw and Sophie Hookimaw; and his sister Sharon Okimaw. He is survived by: his daughters, Colleen (Gabriel) and Jennifer (Thomas); his grandchildren, John, Ross, Jeremih, Sinclair, Dustin and Donavan Smiley; and his siblings, Greg (Stella), Emile, Micheline, Louie, Jackie, Harriette, Jerry (Sandra) and Randy.
