He was predeceased by: his mother Florence; and his siblings, Beryle Bettles, George, Bruce and Scott.

He is survived by: his wife Estelle Young; his children, Roberta Vachon (Yvon Knight), Carrie Young (Robert Nauta) of Mossley, ON and Greg Grayson (Matthew); his grandchildren, Jennifer (Jon) and Jake (Dominique); and his siblings, Barrie Young of Timmins and Al Young. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
