“I would also like to add an additional happy memory. I recall an event attended by Noranda personnel and their families. It was at a cottage (camp) possibly owned by the Calhoun family. Everyone was friendly and had fun. Bob had a small dog (possibly a terrier). One ear was erect, and one was floppy, and he loved to fetch. I continued to see Bob, over the years at mining conventions for many years after that. Seeing him at the conventions was always a pleasure.”

“It was with great sadness that I recently learned of Bob's passing. I worked with him as a recently graduated geologist during 1987-1988, while we were both with Noranda Exploration, in Timmins. He was a great mentor and I have wonderful memories of that year. We worked on several Noranda jobs. One of my favourites was Cline Lake. Joseph Horawski”
